We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Store Manager to lead our retail operation in Corner Brook. This individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, driving sales growth, developing staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage all aspects of store operations.

· Recruit, train, coach, and develop retail staff.

· Create and maintain employee schedules.

· Drive sales performance and achieve store goals.

· Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies for growth.

· Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met.

· Manage inventory levels, merchandising, and product presentation.

· Coordinate with team sales representatives, schools, sports organizations, and local clubs.

· Oversee receiving, pricing, and stock replenishment.

· Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.

· Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

· Manage store budgets and control expenses.





Qualifications

· 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in sporting goods or specialty retail.

· Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage performance.

· Knowledge of sports equipment, apparel, and team sales is considered a strong asset.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

· Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
