We are seeking a skilled journeyman Ironworker to join our dynamic team. We specialize in erecting steel buildings, providing structural and miscellaneous steel, mobile welding services, steel cladding and metal decking. Key Qualifications:

*Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a journeyman ironworker. (Other candidates may be considered )

* Ironworking and trade specific tickets as asset (H2S Alive, Fall Pro, First Aid, MEWP, CSO, CSTS, Bear Aware, etc)

- Must reside in Alberta (preference will be given to candidates living in the greater Calgary area).
- Must have a valid Canadian Driver's License and an active mobile phone with data.
- Must be capable of physical work, including the operation of a variety of power tools, lifting 25 kg on a regular basis.
- Must be willing to be transported to work location by a variety of modes, including air, ground, boat, public, and private.

Job Details:

- $37.00 - $44.00 per hour (Pay will depend on work experience)

*Work in remote locations for up to 14 days at a time, as required.
- Typical work days may be longer, 10-12 hours.
- Overtime is provided after 44 hours per week.
- Living Out Allowance (LOA) is paid weekly for time spent away from Calgary.

Responsibilities:

- Working at Heights
- Proficient in working with power tools and equipment
- Understanding of construction concepts and processes
- Time spent in field as an ironworker on prefab buildings an asset.
- Cladding and welding experience or understanding a HUGE asset
- Ability to read blueprints an asset

*Team player and leadership ability is important
- Have knowledge and understanding of site procedures.
- Erect and install structural steel components according to project plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in operating a telehandler and forklift a huge asset
- Collaborate effectively with team members to keep work on schedule.
- Utilize Corfix software, which will need to be accessed from your mobile device.

- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
