Job Description TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management (PWM) provides high-net worth (HNW) clients with holistic discovery and planning towards customized wealth advice and solutions. Based on the commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, PWM leverages a distinct discovery process and an integrated, team-based approach to build a wealth strategy that reflects each client's unique needs. Wealth Insurance Services offer HNW clients comprehensive insurance based solutions to assist clients in creating, preserving and transitioning their wealth through a number of tax advantaged strategies utilizing insurance products manufactured by leading third-party insurance carriers. This role is responsible for analyzing and building relationships with HNW clients to provide sophisticated insurance strategies as part of the client’s overall financial plan. Offer insurance solutions utilizing insurance products manufactured by leading third-party insurance carriers.
Accountabilities
Supporting HNW & UHNW clients and developing comprehensive plans that are tax efficient, profitable, and address insurance coverage
Generate life insurance sales and manage throughout the sales cycle from prospecting, application and ongoing service
Work with various channels within TD Wealth Management to gain access to their client base
Work with insurance carrier wholesalers to build awareness and promote their insurance solutions within the TD Wealth offices
Promote and offer full suite of Estate Planning products, services and banking capabilities
Develop & implement sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire and retain clients & sales to increase profitability and enable business growth
Promote and offer full suite of products, sales, services and banking capabilities
Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risk
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
Recommend best practices to improve products or services




Keep current on emerging trends and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
Requirements University degree 8 to 10 years of experience in the Canadian Life Insurance Industry, preferably in sales and possess a CFP, CLU, CHFC or similar designations.
Must be life insurance licensed
Deep understanding of investments, tax, legal issues associated with life insurance and related products.
Lead by example managing complex account management processes
Excellent communication & influencing skills
This role is based in Kingston and covers the territory from Kingston to Peterborough and Ottawa.
