Food Service Supervisor
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Work site environment: Noisy. Wet/damp. Hot.
Work setting: Restaurant.
Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Prepare and submit reports.
Supervise and check assembly of trays.
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
Establish work schedules.
Supervision
11-15 people.
Food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Location
Campbell River, BC V9W 2C9. Work location On site.
Salary
$ 20.15 HOUR hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week.
Terms of employment
Permanent employment Full time.
Additional work hours
Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.
