As a Temporary Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will support therapeutic duties under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist. Utilize your skills in problem-solving, communication, and organization to enhance the delivery of services within the Rehabilitation and Supportive Care portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with healthcare professionals and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Occupational Therapist with therapeutic services
• Complete technical support tasks for patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance client outcomes
• Maintain compliance with QEII policies and procedures
• Provide support for wide-ranging rehabilitation services
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized OTA program
• Valid BCLS certification required
• Experience with seating/mobility systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
