In the Chief Medical Informatics Office, the Senior Advisor drives clinical system enhancements across Alberta's healthcare system. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and Clinical System Improvement teams, focusing on integrating clinical best practices within digital health platforms. This role supports quality improvement initiatives by addressing strategic and operational priorities affecting patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize and innovate clinical workflows and content
• Collaborate with clinicians to assess clinical needs
• Develop improvement plans and change management strategies
• Maintain clinical content standards and architectures
• Facilitate presentations and mentorship for team members
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in clinical informatics with 5+ years of experience
• At least 10 years in healthcare or informatics roles
• Solid knowledge of healthcare delivery frameworks
• Proven project management and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Connect Care and AHS office tools
