We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team at our oat milling facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of finished products throughout our operations, helping us maintain our commitment to quality and efficiency. Pay
$22.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

Operating automated packing lines for various bagging products

Loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers

Unsing inventory management systems to prepare orders for shipment

Conduct routine inventory audits

Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, CFIA , ISO 22000 and other food safety regulations by following good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures

Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the company and regulatory agencies

Qualifications





Forklift certification (2 years of experience)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Experience in packaging and warehouse operations is preferred

Previous work in a food manufacturing operation is preferred

Secondary school diploma or equivalency; post-secondary degree is an asset

Lifting pallets and bags weighing 25 kg

Hours

Full time position, 40 hours weekly

Monday to Friday, rotating weekly day, evening and night shifts, 8-hour shifts

Overtime may be required during peak periods
