Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and energetic Mechanical Integration Team Lead to join our Production/Operations department in Chilliwack, BC.

The Role
The Mechanical Integration Team Lead is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of his/her team, assisting Team Members to meet project expectations. The position requires an individual who is comfortable interacting with other stakeholders in the company. It is a fast-paced environment requiring one to multi‑task while performing the duties of the job.



The Integration Team Lead must set an example by working in a safe manner, following all Health and Safety policies and procedures, and using proper PPE.

Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities

Provide support to the Plant Manager.

Develop Production Plans in Relation to Integration Activities; Measure against those plans.

Accountable for the team’s production goals.

Train, Mentor, and encourage fellow Teammates.

Must have experience assembling and Testing Piping Assemblies.

This is a “hands on” position and be working very closely with the assemblers on the production Floor.

Safety Responsibilities

Lead by example.

Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and practices.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE): steel-toed footwear, safety glass, face mask, etc.

Report any unsafe work practices or dangerous work habits.

Monitor work area by checking for trip hazards, unsafe or faulty equipment and/or any unsafe conditions.

Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.

What You Bring

Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong Production Planning skills, and Analytical analysis to measure Performance.

Competent with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Teams.

It is preferred that the candidate is a Red Seal Plumber.

Experience in Gas Fitting, Boilers, and HVAC Installation.

Must have experience with CPVC and PVC Piping Systems.

Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience with P&ID; schematics.
