Lead MCAP's loan origination efforts in Edmonton, Alberta, driving revenue through innovative marketing and client engagement strategies. This role emphasizes expertise in construction lending and credit adjudication.

As the Director of Origination, you will cultivate relationships with both existing and prospective borrowers while originating current loans for residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities include negotiating loan terms, underwriting credit facilities, and creating effective loan proposals. You will play a key role in generating branch revenue and establishing MCAP as the preferred lender in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Originate new loan opportunities for residential and commercial developments
• Structure and underwrite credit facilities to mitigate risks




• Negotiate terms and present loan proposals to borrowers
• Prepare Loan Summaries for Investor Credit Committee reviews
• Maintain and monitor loan portfolios for ongoing support

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in construction lending experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Proven expertise in credit adjudication
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
