About The Comox Valley Child Development Association: Established in 1974, the Comox Valley Child Development Association (CVCDA) is honoured to reside on the unceded traditional territories of the Pentlatch, E’iksan and K’ómoks First Nations.
The CVCDA is a energetic, multi-service not-for-profit agency dedicated to supporting children and families with a wide range of programs for children, youth and young adults with developmental delays and diverse abilities. Our services have spanned over 50 years in the Comox Valley, and we have grown to become one the largest CDA’s on Vancouver Island.

Job Summary
The CVCDA has an opening for a Physiotherapist to join our dynamic, innovative, collaborative, highly skilled and inclusive Early Intervention Therapy team using family-centred, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed practices to deliver Physiotherapy services including assessment, intervention, consultation, and education to children aged 0-5 with a range of developmental needs and their families. Therapists work in a community-based model providing services in children’s homes, childcare centres, pools, parks, and in. our well-equipped facilities including therapy gym, onsite playground,
and smaller therapy rooms.

Wage range: $45.15-$56.17 @ April 1, 2026 Commensurate with Education and Experience
Qualifications
Graduate from a university program in physiotherapy
Licensure with the College of Health & Care Professionals of BC
Pediatric experience or training preferred but not required. Mentoring is available for new graduates, or those new to pediatrics.
Reliable vehicle, full driver’s license, criminal record check
Skills & Abilities
Report-writing competence, and verbal communication skills that are empathetic and articulate
Ability to work within a team concept
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Vehicle that meets ICBC annual inspection standards, and valid Driver’s License
