- Trains, manages, develops, and onboards staff.
- Performs FOH inventory management to maintain high valuation and minimal waste.
- Ensures that staff is on task, quality assurance standards are being met, and the operation is clean and
organized.
- Monitors marketing, confirming that signage is current and appropriate. Additionally, working with Activities
and Marketing departments to ensure proper events and dining calendars are communicated/updated.
- Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company and client expectations.
- Trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service if applicable
- Assists with catering events tied to the community internally and externally. Including BEO’s and event
management and execution.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with client, residents, and back of house team.
- Works with vendors as needed to increase positive cost results.
- Works cooperatively with other management regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
- Oversees financial aspects of first-class bar/concession stand operations and cashier closeouts.
- Consistent daily meal rounding in all dining venues.
- Utilize resident satisfaction audit tools to adjust service needs.
- Track and follow up on resident comments cards
- Support culinary in daily and weekly setup of dining programmed events i.e.
Teaching
Kitchens, Chef’s Tables,
Superfood Display etc.
- Manages internal and external communication with resident and guest orders and needs, including and not
limited use of phones, email, radio(s) or any other form of communication tool.
- Performs other duties as assigned
