About the Role
We are currently looking to add a Team Lead, Risk & Integrity to our team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Director, Operations the successful candidate will play a key role in the operation and development of ProMonitor Risk & Integrity software and services. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will apply your technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to support clients while identifying opportunities for software improvement and contributing to Critical Control Technologies’ overall corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing and refining ProMonitor’s approach to Pipeline Integrity Management.
- Provide leadership to Risk & Integrity team members.
- Proactively engage with clients to support their use of ProMonitor.
- Ensure correct technical and regulatory information is provided to clients.
- Undertake resource and activity planning in conjunction with the Director of Operations for client implementation projects.
- Provide recommendations and assistance to clients on modifying their risk assessment configuration.
- Apply asset integrity knowledge across pipeline and pressure equipment — including modeling, mitigation, inspection, monitoring, maintenance, and regulation.
- Communicate software development opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze large datasets using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Assist in creating and updating documentation, manuals, and training materials.
- Support sales initiatives by leading product demonstrations, compiling sales documents and use cases, and preparing quotes.
- Participate in industry events and networking functions as a company representative.
- Stay current with industry best practices and evolving regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Materials & Metallurgical, Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical).
- 8+ years of related experience in pipeline integrity or the oil and gas industry.
- Registered, or eligible to register, with APEGA as Professional Engineer(P.Eng).
- Experience and/or training in pipeline corrosion, inline inspection (ILI), and mitigation.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., CSA Z662, API standards, ASMEB31.8).
- Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal pipeline compliance and regulations.

- Experience with SQL is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
