The primary purpose of this position is to assist residents or clients with transportation to and from Medical appointments or to family events in community when required. Also, may be required to assist with transportation home once discharged. The person reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications:

Graduation from High School or equivalency;
Valid class 4 License
2 years’ driving experience
Explicit driving record
Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR);.is an asset
The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

Assist Residents to embark and disembark the bus
Transport to and from their destination.
Participate in day to day upkeep of the bus including start up check gas/oil and reporting any problems.
