This position involves creating an engaging learning setting for students up to grade 5. You’ll develop lesson plans, manage class behavior, and ensure effective communication with parents. This role also includes assessing student progress and implementing classroom policies that meet State and District guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster a conducive educational environment for learning
• Plan and implement tailored lesson plans and curriculum
• Evaluate and record student performance and communicate with parents
• Direct assistance from non-certificated staff effectively
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Experience with culturally diverse student populations
• Proven behavior management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various learning needs and environments
