In this permanent position, you will support effective governance and accountability across Alberta's public agencies. You will provide expert guidance on legislative compliance and oversee complex recruitment processes. As the Senior Governance Analyst, your work will help strengthen agency oversight and improve public accountability within the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on agency governance and compliance
• Monitor practices and identify risks within public agencies
• Coordinate recruitment processes for board positions
• Prepare briefing materials and Cabinet packages
• Support strategic planning and governance initiatives
Requirements:
• University graduation in a related field
• 4 years of progressively responsible experience
• Familiarity with governance legislation in Alberta
• Experience preparing technical reports and analysis
• Strong political acumen and attention to detail
