Reporting directly to the Manager of Occupational Health and Patient Safety, you will be pivotal in maintaining CASA's health programs. Your expertise will ensure compliance with provincial legislation while fostering a safety culture. Key tasks include managing safety data, conducting ergonomic assessments, and delivering essential training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to OHPS inquiries
• Monitor CASA's safety incident management system
• Escalate safety concerns and near misses
• Conduct ergonomics assessments at multiple sites
• Deliver OHPS training sessions for staff
Requirements:
• Post-secondary in occupational health and safety
• Experience in a healthcare environment
• Ability to achieve Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification
• Valid first aid and CPR certification
• Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle
