Finning is hiring a permanent Gas Compression Technician to contribute to our expanding operations. You'll utilize your CAT G3600 experience to troubleshoot and perform repairs on gas and diesel engines in the field and shop. This role focuses on fostering customer relationships while ensuring their Caterpillar machinery operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform field diagnosis and repairs on CAT engines
• Execute large-scale overhauls and rebuilds
• Conduct component replacements and upgrades




• Complete paperwork and maintain customer communication
• Travel to customer sites across Alberta and Northern BC

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical experience
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
• Previous experience with CAT equipment and gas engines
• Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
