Job Description
What is the chance?
As a Branch Manager, you are a localmarket leader,motivatingand coachingyour teamtocreateamemorableexperienceforclients.Inside and outside the branch, youcapitalize on emerging market opportunities and act asan RBC Ambassadorwithin the community you work in.Sharing common goals, purpose, vision,and values with otherRBC partners, youbuild relationships andencouragecollaboration across all roles, as well assteward digital enablement and multichannel usage.As a team leader, yousupportthe ongoing development of staff through consistent routines to ensurea high levelof employee capability and engagement.

What will you do?

Deliver resultsand support new client acquisitionsthrough multiple channels,including your own teamand localpartners

Leadchange andallocateresources to meettheneeds ofthecommunity,growingsales, revenue, and marketshare

Ensurehigh employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development,and careerplanning

Inspire, orchestrate,and pioneersuperiorretailing excellence to deliveramemorable clientexperience

Coach your team on clientadvice and education,problemresolutionand prevention at first point of contact,andadvocatefor digital enablement and multichannelusage

Takeappropriate actionsto close gapsidentifiedthrough operational, credit effectiveness, and compliance reviews andreports

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC)andminimum 2 years of licensedmutual funds sales experience within the last 3 years

Completedan acceptable mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI,or abilityto writeanexam within 4 months of startdate

Minimum 3 years in a people management role

Entrepreneurialbusiness acquisition mindset

Ability toemploydigital channels,drive client awareness,and ensure your team is enabling clients with RBC digitalaccess

Nice-to-have

Experience in both business and personalbanking





Strongtrack recordof building andmaintainingclient relationships in the finance or service sector
