Job Description
Working under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor,the Senior Therapist will be responsible for the clinical supervision of the instructor therapists on the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct curricular, functional, and behavioural assessments.
Curriculum development, ongoing analysis, and program adjustments as necessary.
Participate in the treatment planning process.
Conduct and oversee parent training and progress review meetings.
Provide service coordination with schools, transition teams, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, etc.
Participate in intake and transition planning.
Maintain and organize all administrative functions in support of service delivery.
Provide clinical and managerial supervision and training, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to staff.
Conduct staff evaluations and performance appraisals.
Attend and/or arrange case transfer meetings.
The hourly pay range for this position is $37.50 CAD- $41.68 CAD
Qualifications:
AMaster’s degree* in psychology or related field. *Consideration will also be given to candidates completing the final year of theirMasters who have more than 3 years’ experience implementing IBI with children and adolescents with ASD, have extensive report and skill acquisition program writing skills, and experience training staff in IBI.
Aminimum of 3 years’ experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventionapproaches for the treatment of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Proven assessment, direct service, clinical and program supervision skills.
At least 3 years of Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) experience.
Travel is required for this position, the successful candidate must have a validOntario driver’s license,
access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical.
Candidates Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
