Job Summary
The Office Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining the company's operational efficiency and safety standards. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of company policies and practices, serving multiple roles simultaneously - including auditor, trainer, listener, observer, troubleshooter, and knowledge source. Beyond administrative duties, the Administrator is accountable for providing leadership that supports the company's safety objectives, facilitates cross-training, and promotes employee development by offering challenging assignments and growth opportunities. Their daily responsibilities involve guiding employees in safe task execution and serving as an exemplary model of professional conduct throughout the workplace.
Dusties and Responsibilities
Type correspondence, reports and other documents
Maintain Office Production files
Maintain production reports daily submitting to Corporate office
Prepare a Line Report for all lines with the items being produced, printing production labels
Process production within the Kissner NAV system, Windsor SAP system & Premier Tech JDE system
Maintain constant communication with production planners on changes to the production schedule and shortages from previous day’s run
Receipt of PMI in NAV, scanning & sending paperwork to Corporate office
Traffic Coordinating appointments within Shippers Edge for Kissner, Windsor Salt & Premier Tech
Preparation of paperwork for Kissner, Windsor Salt & Premier Tech shipments from NAV, SAP & JDE system.
Printing ASN labels required for Kissner & Windsor Salt shipments
Coordinating with shippers loading of the carriers upon arrival
Processing shipments within Kissner & Windsor Salt Accounting systems
Scanning & sending confirmations of shipments to Kissner, Windsor & Premier Tech accounting
Annual review of policies & procedures, ensuring that they are up to date for the facility
Coordination of training and documentation for all new staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum three (3) years of experience operating in a production/packaging environment
Ability to conduct effective employee training and development.
Ability to measure performance to goals and standards.
Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player.
Above average conflict resolution skills.Valuable written communication and verbal skills.
Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to create spreadsheets.
