ConnectWell Community Health is hiring an Autism Therapists for 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE). This position includes a competitive benefit package and HOOPP.
Position Summary: The Autism Therapist will be part of ConnectWell’s Developmental Services Team working within our client funded Programs. This role provides high-quality direct support to clients being served in a fee-based framework. Client services are provided to children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities, behavior challenges or mental health needs. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, the Autism Therapist will provide a variety of services including: Intensive Behavioural Intervention; Parent Education & Coaching; Specialized Workshops; Consultation and individualized or group-based services. The Autism Therapist works under the clinical supervision of a registered Behaviour Analyst (CPBAO). This individual may also work collaboratively in services with Speech-Language Pathologists,
Occupational Therapists, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
Human Service Degree/Diploma
Preference for additional Autism and Behavioural Sciences Graduate Certificate
Experience working with children/youth with ASD
Extensive knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
Salary Range: $48,552 to $57,120
Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to the Program Manager.
