Position Details Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a Material Handler/Coordinator at our project in Nisku, AB.
Schedule Rotation: Monday to Friday
Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
What You Will Be Working On Receiving & Material Control Coordinate receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips,
and material test reports.
Ensure material traceability requirements are maintained.
Coordinate material identification and labeling procedures.
Manage non-conforming materials in conjunction with Quality Control.
Issue materials to production crews and fabrication shops.
Coordinate material movement between laydown areas, fabrication bays, and assembly locations.
Ensure fabrication foremen have visibility of material availability and shortages.
Support project teams with material status reporting.
What We Are Looking For CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
Maintain organized and secure material storage areas.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
