This role involves leading clay classes, from hand building to wheel throwing, ensuring safety and inclusivity in every session. You will also contribute to research aimed at enhancing ceramic programming, fostering a positive and enriching environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional guidance in two ceramic studios
• Prepare and lead classes for various age groups
• Develop inclusive clay programming and activities
• Ensure a positive learning atmosphere for participants
• Support departmental objectives and community engagement
Requirements:
• Completion or enrollment in ceramics program
• Experience creating tailored lessons for diverse groups
• Prior teaching experience in educational settings
• Knowledge of contemporary craft techniques
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles
