This role supports a diverse portfolio of heavy industrial and energy projects across Canada.If you have a strong track record in structural design for dynamic and vibratory systems and thrive in technically challenging, fast-paced environments, we would like to hear from you.#LI-HybridThe RoleThe Senior Structural Engineer will serve as a technical authority in the design and analysis of structures supporting vibratory and dynamic equipment, including turbines, generators, compressors, and pumps. The role requires advanced expertise in structural steel and reinforced concrete design, dynamic analysis, and foundation systems, ensuring compliance with Canadian codes and client standards.You will lead complex engineering activities, mentor junior engineers, interface with multidisciplinary teams, and authenticate structural deliverables in accordance with regulatory requirements.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future. Even if you do not meet every requirement below, we encourage you to apply if your expertise aligns with this role.Expected:Engineering degree (Graduate or Undergraduate) in Civil or Structural EngineeringRegistered Qualified Engineer ( with APEGAMinimum 15 years of relevant EPC experience, including foundation design for vibratory equipment (., turbines, generators, compressors, pumps)Experience designing steel structures supporting dynamic equipment (., modularized building skids)High proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, STAAD, Dyna6 for static and dynamic analysisStrong background in structural steel and reinforced concrete designIn-depth knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada (Alberta Edition)Comprehensive knowledge of CSA S16 and CSA A23.3Broad experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial projectsStrong technical writing and report preparation skillsEffective verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments efficientlyExperience with finite element analysisDemonstrated mentorship and coaching of junior engineersMust be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application #J-18808-Ljbffr
