Engage the public as a Heritage Interpreter at the City of Richmond, delivering educational programs at various historic sites. This role requires solid communication and customer service skills.

You will facilitate school programs and tours at Britannia Shipyards, London Farm, Steveston Tram, and the Richmond Museum. The position entails preparing educational materials, mentoring volunteers, and delivering engaging, hands-on activities for diverse age groups. Effective communication and problem-solving skills will be vital to inspire and educate visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging school programs and guided tours
• Prepare educational materials and ensure program readiness
• Assist in developing hands-on activities for visitors




• Provide program evaluations to participating teachers
• Mentor volunteers to enhance tour delivery

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a heritage interpreter
• Basic knowledge of interpretive techniques and museum practices
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong public speaking skills, especially with children
• Successful completion of a Police Information Check
