Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager for a large company in the industrial sector. This individual will assume strategic responsibility for a portfolio of key accounts, with a mandate to ensure their sustainability, profitability, and growth.

Working with the Sales Management team, the successful candidate will orchestrate all management, retention, and development activities for a portfolio of established strategic accounts.

This role differs from a prospecting or new market development function: it focuses on consolidating existing business relationships and optimizing their long-term value.

Main Responsibilities

Assume full accountability for managing a portfolio of major accounts within the industrial sector

Develop a deep understanding of each client's specific business challenges to identify growth opportunities (upselling and cross-selling)

Develop, implement, and periodically review strategic account plans

Represent the organization as the primary point of contact with key decision-makers and build lasting relationships of trust

Ensure close collaboration with internal teams (operations, engineering, customer service)



to guarantee a high level of service optimal

Lead negotiations related to the renewal of contractual agreements and ensure the sustained profitability of the accounts under their responsibility

Ensure rigorous accountability using performance indicators and periodic activity reports

Desired Profile

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in major account management, ideally acquired in an industrial context

Demonstrated track record in a role focused on retaining and growing existing accounts

Superior negotiation, communication, and long-term business relationship building skills

Sharp strategic thinking and robust business analysis skills

Fluency in French and English, an asset depending on the scope of the client base served

Valid driver's license and availability for Occasional travel
