Role Summary
Domain: Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance

15+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in program / delivery management. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing a large, complex, customer facing P&C; Insurance technology engagement covering 100+ applications across application development, maintenance, production support, modernization, and transformation initiatives. The role requires strong insurance domain knowledge, delivery leadership, governance discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to work directly with customer business and technology leaders to ensure high quality delivery, operational stability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Own E2E program delivery for a complex P&C; Insurance application portfolio covering 100+ business critical applications.

Act as the primary interface with customer stakeholders, including business leaders, technology leaders, product owners, operations teams, and vendor partners.

Manage delivery across application support, enhancements, projects, modernization, integrations, releases, production stability, and continuous service improvement.

Establish and run strong governance across daily operations, weekly delivery reviews, monthly steering committees, executive reviews, RAID tracking, SLA / KPI performance, financials, and resource planning.

Partner with customer teams to identify transformation, automation, application rationalization, incident reduction, productivity improvement, and cost optimization opportunities.

P&C; Insurance Domain Expectations

Strong understanding of P&C; Insurance business processes such as policy administration, underwriting, rating, billing, claims, reinsurance, agency / broker management, customer servicing,



regulatory reporting, and document management.

Experience working with commercial, personal, specialty, or multiline insurance carriers will be preferred.

Ability to understand customer business objectives and translate them into delivery priorities, technology roadmaps, operational improvements, and measurable business outcomes.

15+ years of overall IT experience with strong program management experience in large scale insurance, BFSI, or enterprise technology engagements. Proven experience managing large application portfolios, preferably 100+ applications, across development, maintenance, support, and transformation scope.

Strong customer facing delivery leadership with experience working directly with senior customer stakeholders and executive governance forums.

Excellent command over program planning, delivery governance, financial tracking, resource management, risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication.

Hands on exposure to Agile, Scrum, hybrid delivery, DevOps, ITIL, incident / problem management, release management, and production support operations.

Good understanding of enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, databases, integration middleware, and Service Management platforms.

Ability to manage ambiguity, resolve conflicts, influence stakeholders, drive decisions, and maintain delivery discipline in a multi vendor, multi stakeholder environment.

Qualifications and Certifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science,



Information Technology

Certifications such as PMP, SAFe, CSM, ITIL, or equivalent program / delivery management certifications are preferred.

Insurance domain certifications such as AINS, CPCU, LOMA

Solid communication, negotiation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

Structured, data driven, and outcome oriented approach to governance and delivery management.

Ability to balance operational stability with transformation, automation, innovation, and cost optimization goals.

Fulltime: The pay range for this role is CAD$120,000 - CA$140,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate.
