As the Director, you will spearhead the establishment of critical partnerships that facilitate high-quality medical education. Engage with health authorities, Indigenous communities, and academic institutions to expand clinical training opportunities and optimize the School of Medicine’s education model. Your strategic leadership will play a vital role in fostering relationships that address diverse community health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain strategic health partnerships across BC
• Develop partnership frameworks, agreements, and governance structures
• Advance the rural integration strategy and expand clinical training capacity
• Negotiate and manage complex contracts and clinical agreements
• Strengthen stakeholder relations with government and clinicians
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant field with seven years of experience
• Expertise in partnership development and negotiation
• Robust understanding of healthcare governance and regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability in strategic planning and project leadership
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
