Heavy Equipment Operators - North Warning System - 6/6 Rotation - Fly-In & Fly-Out + Accommodations Provided- Nunavut, NU Nasittuq is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team supporting the North Warning System in Nunavut. This is a unique opportunity to work in remote Arctic locations on a rotational schedule, operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidates are experienced operators with a strong safety mindset, ready to contribute to critical infrastructure in challenging environments.
Perks & Benefits Competitive pay: $37.14 to $46.44 annually
Fly-In/Fly-Out rotation: 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, with company-paid travel

What You’ll Need Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator with Air Brake Endorsement (DZ Licence)



or valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Certification
Completion of Protected Backing training or ability to obtain certification
Valid driver’s licence with satisfactory driving record
Experience operating loaders, graders, dozers, dump trucks, forklifts, snow removal equipment, and similar machinery
Experience with snow clearing and winter road maintenance
Experience towing trailers and operating vehicles with attached equipment
Ability to work in remote, industrial, or Arctic environments
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and workplace safety
Ability to perform physically demanding work in remote Arctic environments
Ability to obtain and maintain Enhanced Reliability or Secret Level Security Clearance
