What is the Chance?
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Capital Markets digital platform team, specifically supporting the Multi Asset Trade Analytics (MATA) platform. MATA is a comprehensive analytics platform that serves trading desks across multiple asset classes, providing critical insights and data that traders rely on to make informed decisions daily.

Job Description
As a Product Manager on the MATA platform team, you will play a key role in bringing product concepts to reality, bridging technical, business, and user needs through collaboration and partnership. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Technology, Engineering, Trading Desks, Sales, and Operations to evolve and scale the MATA platform as it expands to support multiple new initiatives across Capital Markets.

In this role, you will focus on core product execution for trading analytics capabilities, translating trader workflows and business requirements into actionable product features. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, conducting user research, managing feature delivery, and driving adoption of analytics tools that traders rely on daily to make critical decisions.

This role offers the opportunity for an early‑career product professional to gain hands‑on experience across the full product lifecycle while working on high‑impact products in a fast‑paced capital markets environment. You will collaborate with talented engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, with direct exposure to trading desks, institutional clients, and senior leadership. As MATA continues to grow and expand its capabilities, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing ownership and help shape the future of trading analytics at RBC.

What will you do?

Product Development & Delivery: Support the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for trading analytics features on the MATA platform. Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, manage backlogs, and work with engineering teams to deliver high‑quality releases on time.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with traders, sales, operations teams, and other internal users. Conduct interviews, observe workflows, and gather requirements to understand pain points and opportunities. Translate business needs into clear product specifications.

User Research & Testing: Lead user research initiatives including interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions. Develop deep understanding of trading workflows, data needs, and decision‑making processes to inform product decisions.

Data & Analytics:

Track product metrics including feature adoption, usage patterns, and user engagement. Analyze data to identify trends, measure impact, and inform prioritization decisions. Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

Go‑to‑Market Support: Coordinate product launches by working across teams to align on timing, communications, and training. Create user documentation and training materials. Support product demos and onboarding sessions to drive adoption.

Roadmap Contribution: Contribute to roadmap planning by gathering feature requests, assessing business value and technical feasibility, and researching competitive products. Help prioritize initiatives based on impact and strategic alignment.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, data science, and business teams throughout the product development process. Facilitate alignment, clarify requirements, and help remove blockers to keep initiatives moving forward.

Product Communication: Create internal artifacts including requirement documents, user flows, and product specifications. Communicate progress, decisions, and trade‑offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
