Role Description This is a full time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Richmond, BC.

The Travel

Agent will assist clients with planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, and other travel services. Daily responsibilities include handling reservations, responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, and providing recommendations on destinations, travel options, and itineraries. The role involves preparing quotations, processing payments, managing changes or cancellations, and ensuring accuracy in all booking details.

The Travel

Agent will also contribute to sales goals, maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products and policies, and provide professional,



courteous customer service throughout the travel planning process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, tours, and package holidays.

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues, and support clients before and during travel.

- Candidates should possess skills in Car Rental coordination, including comparing options, securing bookings, and managing changes or cancellations.

- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including upselling relevant services, meeting sales targets, and communicating value clearly to clients.

- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience as a Travel Agent or in hospitality, familiarity with global destinations and travel regulations, and proficiency with booking and reservation systems.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, basic math skills for quoting and invoicing, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are important.
