Duties

- Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods between distribution centers, warehouses, and customer locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo with care, including handling heavy lifting tasks when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly




- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles
- Proven experience driving large trucks in various conditions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of loading or unloading processes
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
- Ability to stay focused on the road for extended periods and handle multiple deliveries per day
