Role Summary The Truck Driver plays an essential role in supporting Modern Niagara's construction operations by ensuring tools, equipment, materials, and prefabricated components are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to project sites. This role helps maintain productivity in the field, supports efficient warehouse and tool crib operations, and contributes to the successful execution of projects by ensuring crews have the resources they need when they need them.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivers tools and other items to job sites within the designated region while following safe driving procedures
- Inspects loads for damage during transport and documents appropriately and provide to Tool Crib Staff to process accordingly.
- Receives, unpacks, and conducts inventory checks for incoming tools and equipment.
- Maintains a clean workspace
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks
- Packs tool orders for site delivery (As required).
- Adheres to delivery and maintenance procedures and ensures equipment and truck are in good working condition. Maintains delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation
Must-Haves
- Must hold a valid minimum restricted A license with a clean driver’s abstract and 2+ years of verifiable driving experience are required.
- Towing experience is needed to be successful in this role
- Experience in a shop, and with truck driving
- Preferably a background in the construction industry and tool processing
- Excellent problem solving, decision making and organization skills
- A explicit understanding of what drives a successful service shop operations
- A self-starter with a dedicated work ethic, who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Desire and ability to foster a safe, positive and productive shop environment
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet physical demands and essential functions of the job:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (occasionally 50-75 lbs.)
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing, kneeling and crouching required.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, as required.

- Previous experience in a corporate, construction, or engineering environment.
