Responsibilities: Delivery driver – to local customers and between both shop locations, driving a ½ ton truck pulling a 24ft flat deck trailer General Labour as needed

Prepares shipments for conveyance by packing items to ensure safe delivery.

Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain appropriate quantities, destination, and routing are correct.

Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment

Inspects shipments for damages and or defects and notifies purchasing personnel

Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpacks, and logs inventory

May operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment. May operate shrink-wrap machine

Follows established policies and procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives,



and safety and environmental standards Qualifications: Ability to read and follow written directions and understand basic shop drawings

Knowledge of measuring tools such as tape measure, ruler, square, compass

Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail

Able to understand and follow safety procedures

Must have dexterity and able to lift heavy objects

Positive understanding of math and quality control principles

Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance

Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines

Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands

Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence

Experience pulling a 24ft flat deck trailer.
