Analytics Engineer
What You Need to Do
· Develop, maintain, and optimize data transformation pipelines using dbt to support analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives.
· Design and implement scalable and efficient data models that improve data accessibility, consistency, and usability across business functions.
· Establish and maintain data quality frameworks, validation processes, and testing standards to ensure reliability and accuracy of enterprise data assets.
· Optimize data transformation workflows and pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
· Collaborate with analytics, data science, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver trusted data solutions.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks.
· Support the development and enhancement of enterprise data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, transformation logic, lineage, schema definitions, and operational processes.
· Participate in code reviews and promote analytics engineering best practices, including modular development, testing, documentation, and version control.
· Identify opportunities to improve data governance, operational efficiency, and overall data reliability across the organization.
What You'll Need to Succeed
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
· 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence Engineering, or a related data-focused role.
· Strong hands-on SQL experience with a proven ability to build and maintain complex data models.
· Experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) or similar modern data transformation frameworks.
· Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, database design, and analytics engineering best practices.
· Experience working with enterprise cloud data warehouse platforms.
· Experience troubleshooting data pipelines, resolving data quality issues, and improving data reliability.
· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
Nice to Have
· Experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
· Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and software engineering best practices.
· Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
· Exposure to data science workflows and advanced analytics environments.
