The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that support Framewerx’s internal operations and client-facing applications. This includes building recent functionality, maintaining existing codebases, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to transform requirements into functional tools and features.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Delivery
- Translate technical and functional requirements into high-quality code.
- Develop front-end and back-end components of web-based applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with internal users to iterate and enhance existing tools.
- Support quality assurance through testing and documentation.
Architecture & Systems
- Contribute to architecture decisions and system designs.
- Participate in data modeling, API design, and schema optimization.
- Monitor application performance and refactor as needed for scalability.
- Document processes, dependencies, and design decisions.
Collaboration & Process
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and product owners.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Provide estimates, identify risks, and propose implementation strategies.
- Contribute to internal standards and reusable components.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern web framework (e.g., React, Vue, Django, Flask).
- Familiarity with relational databases, version control (Git), and RESTful API design.
