Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) Technology team is responsible for developing Risk Management systems for the Credit Valuation Adjustment trading desk, also benefitting the firm's Credit Risk and Market Risk departments, and is currently embarked on a multi-year current development effort.
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, innovative developer with breadth and depth of technology skills and strong Computer Science background to help develop the new system. The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into production and also have outstanding communication skills.
The candidate will participate in strategic renovation on mission-critical distributed infrastructure for trade capture and market/reference data gathering to support the CVA trading desk.
This individual will work with users and fellow developers to understand business/technology requirements, derivative products, and existing data flows in order to renovate and enhance functionalities.
Key technologies
- Java, DB2/Sybase, Python, and SQL
Skills required
- 3+ years Core Java/Scala with multithreading experience.
- 2+ years Perl/Python and/or Unix Shell scripting.
- Strong software engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good problem solving skills and ability to collaborate across Traders, Quants and Technology teams.
Skills Desired
- Experience of working with RDBMS
- Knowledge of financial products and risk management.
- Prior experience working with remote teams spread across different time zones.
