About the Position

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop their electrical skills, and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians on residential, commercial, and construction projects.

The successful candidate will be hardworking, safety-focused, dependable, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

- Assist Journeyperson Electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Assist with wiring, installations, troubleshooting, and electrical rough-ins
- Read and follow electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Install electrical components, fixtures, outlets, switches, and other equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with running and terminating wires and cables
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable electrical codes
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Communicate effectively with electricians, supervisors, trades, and other site personnel
- Perform other general electrical and construction-related duties as required
- Continue developing technical knowledge and skills through on-the-job training

Qualifications
- Previous electrical or construction experience




- Basic understanding of electrical tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Physically capable of working on construction sites and performing manual labour
- Comfortable working at heights, in various weather conditions, and in active construction environments
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Commitment to workplace safety
