Job Title: Assurance/Accounting Manager

Location: Edmonton, AB (In-office and hybrid)

Salary: Up to $120,000 based on experience

Pathfind has partnered with a well-established accounting firm on the south side of Edmonton that provides accounting services and business coaching to its clients. You enjoy interacting directly with clients. Our client is looking for someone full-time but can also accommodate less than full-time, with flexible hours and the option to work remotely when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- working with a wide range of exciting clientele - the small to medium sized businesses that are driving Alberta’s economy
- preparing financial statements on a review basis as well as reviewing other people’s work on reviews
- finding improvements that clients can implement into their operations
- help to develop tax planning strategies to minimize their overall taxes
- ensuring the assurance department runs well
- interacting with clients,



supporting the senior managers and partners through the review of compilations and preparation and review of tax returns

Key Requirements:

- comfortable working in a fully digital workplace and embracing cloud-based applications

- CPA designation and at least 4-5 years of experience in public practice preparing and reviewing reviews and compilations
- enjoy public practice and are looking for a firm that celebrates you as an individual and allows you to learn and grow in the areas you want, all the while providing a great work environment
- effective and professional communicator and have a focus on client service and partnering with clients to achieve their goals
- understand technology and that client’s needs are rapidly changing and you want to be on the forefront of this movement.
