- Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report

- Inspect repaired vehicles

- Plan repair work to be performed

- Professionalism in customer service

- Clean and maintain work space

- Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and under-body components

- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired

- Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers

- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place

- Repair or replace interior components

- Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs

- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams

- Straighten bent frames using frame and under-body pulling and anchoring equipment

Requirements

- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the same occupation.

- Must have experience working with body components, doors and frames,



frame straightening, front-end components, interior components, metal cutting, and under-body components.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, demonstrate solid attention to detail, and perform tasks involving bending, crouching,

kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

- Must demonstrate accuracy, dependability, reliability, judgment, excellent oral communication, and be a team player.

- Must have a valid driver's license.

- Must have own tools and steel-toed safety boots.

- Must be able to communicate in English.
