Our client is a market leader in the automation manufacturing industry and is looking for a Product Designer in Vaughan, ON. The chosen candidate will be responsible for working in collaboration with the manufacturing team and clients to create and produce cutting-edge structural designs and concepts that will provide a competitive edge for the division. This role has a lot of opportunity for growth both within the company.

Responsibilities:

Duties will include: creating drawings, modifying existing designs, determining product sizes and producing presentation samples using the required software.

Qualifications:

· College Diploma in design or a related domain

· Experience in a manufacturing environment

· Working knowledge of CAD Systems, Excel and As400

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Innovative and imaginative capabilities

· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

· Ability to meet deadlines in a creative, fast-paced environment
