THE SKILLS - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Bookkeeping (A/R, A/P, monthly bank & credit card reconciliations);
- Process electronic payments (wire transfer, EFT, e-transfers);
- Government reporting (GST/HST), PST, WCB & Source Deductions;
- Bi-weekly or Semi-monthly payroll;
- Annual preparation of T4, T5, and T101 Slips;
- Assist & liaise with external auditors for year end audits;
- Other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-years of full cycle accounting experience; public company experience considered an asset;
- Must have proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel
- An accounting certificate or diploma.
- BIR and experience in Philippines Tax requirements would be considered an asset.

What you’re responsible for:
- Reviewing correspondence to determine urgency and managing schedules to ensure the most effective use of time.
- Assisting with the logistics, facilitation and scheduling of meetings and events, including technical support and the preparation of presentations.
- Completing various administrative tasks, mail, paying invoices, submitting and reviewing team expense reports, procedure documentation and ordering office supplies.
- Providing support services to the leadership team including scheduling meetings, creating, updating and maintaining document lists, following up with stakeholders, updating manuals and completing other tasks as required.

To join our team:
- You have 1-2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant or in a related role.
- You have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Communication, Finance or a related discipline.
- You have highly proficient skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
