The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, exceptional customer service, and profitable departmental performance. This role provides leadership to parts personnel, maintains strong vendor relationships, and ensures the availability of parts required to support customer and operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

Department Operations

- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse operations including orders pulled, shipping and receiving, dispatch and delivery drivers, and inventory control.

- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate parts personnel to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.

- Establish and monitor workflows to maximize efficiency and service quality.

- Create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Inventory Management

- Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective forecasting, stocking, purchasing, and local sourcing strategies.

- Monitor stock turns and inventory performance to optimize availability while minimizing excess inventory.

- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits as needed.

Customer Service Support

- Oversee delivery personnel to ensure exceptional customer service.

- Work closely with customers and team members to promptly resolve inquiries, concerns, and operational issues.





- Promote a customer-focused culture that emphasizes responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism.

Vendor & Financial Management

- Evaluate vendor pricing, product availability, and delivery performance to secure the best value and service.

- Assist in budget planning and expense management for the department.

Qualifications

- Experience in a Parts Manager, Parts Supervisor, or similar leadership role.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven experience managing inventory, purchasing, pricing, and daily department operations.

- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence and accuracy.
