Job Title: Transportation Designer

What The Job Is

Pathfind has partnered with a very reputable company within the engineering industry to find a Bridge Construction Inspector. ​Working collaboratively, you will deliver a large range of infrastructure projects for The City of Edmonton, Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, counties and municipalities, private land developers, and other clients. Projects include large interchange bridges or river crossing bridges, smaller ‘standard’ bridges and culverts, retaining structures, reservoirs, and other concrete structures.

- Meticulous and diligent in record keeping

- Deliberate and circumspect when making determinations, not easily coerced or intimidated to rush decisions





- Able to repudiate work without hesitation when project requirements are not met

- Skilled at processing information and understanding the perspective of others, continuously demonstrating an attitude of ‘partnering’ through actions and words, able to consider the implication of decisions on all parties

- Aware of “the big picture” and has a great deal of patience and perseverance

Who You Are

- 5-10 years of experience working as a Bridge Construction Inspector on Major and Standard bridge inspection for ATEC or related client experience.

- The inspector shall possess the skillsets outlined in Section 11 of the Engineering Consulting Guidelines Volume 1,specifically section A.2 of the Bridge Construction Manual volume 3.

- You must maintain a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator’s License. A company vehicle will be provided

- Registration with ASET or APEGA is preferred.
