Position: Butcher-retail or wholesale Wage: CAD $23.69 /hour Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30 40 hours/week Benefits: 4% vacation pay Job Duties:

- Cut, trim, bone meats to prepare standard cuts; • Prepare meat for special displays and orders; • Wrap and package prepared meats; • Keep sales records and monitor supply to maintain inventory; • Ensure meats are clean and stored in protected conditions; • Follow safety standards and maintain workplace in sanitary conditions; • Supervise and train meat cutters.

Job requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required.




- Completion of a college or other butchery training program, or 2-3 years of on-the-job training is required.
