Position Summary:

Bayview Glen Church is seeking a driven, organized, and relational spiritual leader to serve as Campus Pastor for our next campus location.

This leader will inspire and mobilize people to live out our mission: We work together so everyone, everywhere experiences God’s love and our created purpose in Jesus.

The Campus Pastor will provide spiritual, strategic, and operational leadership for the campus and ensure alignment with Bayview Glen Church’s vision, mission, and ministry model. This role reports directly to the Campus and Leadership Development Pastor (CLD) and plays a key role in cultivating a thriving, outward-facing, disciple-making community.

This is a full-time position. Compensation is based on experience and includes an extended benefits and vacation package. This role requires availability on evenings and weekends.

Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications:

- Must possess a developed Christian maturity and model Christian character at work, home, and social life.

- To be fully aligned and working towards the mission and vision of Bayview Glen Church and embody our values.

- Experience building and leading teams proven by strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.

- Excellent communicator, both from the platform and in smaller settings, with the gift of teaching a plus but not required.

- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.

- 3-5 years full time experience at a large,



growing church preferred; participation in BGC Pastor Residency Program an asset.

- Large multi-site church experience and volunteer mobilization experience are an asset.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership & Vision

- Provide overall leadership and ownership of the campus in alignment with Bayview Glen’s mission and strategy.

- Champion and cultivate Bayview Glen’s culture and values at the campus.

- Provide visible and engaging weekend leadership, including regular platform presence.

- Lead, coach, and develop campus staff and key leaders.

- Create and execute strategic plans for campus growth and health.

- Lead and monitor key ministry metrics and rhythms.

- Foster a culture of generosity, stewardship, and ownership.

- Collaborate effectively across central and campus teams.

Evangelism & Outreach

- Build and sustain a strong invitation culture within the campus.

- Oversee and ensure the effective running of Alpha as a primary evangelistic pathway.

- Understand and engage the local community by developing strategies to meet real needs with the love of Jesus.

Shepherding & Pastoral Care

- Serve as the primary pastoral presence for the campus





- Act as LG Coach for LGs launched from this campus until SERVE Coaches are discovered, developed, and deployed.

- Provide oversight and/or direct involvement in pastoral care, including: Weddings, Funerals, and spiritual and emotional care

- Cultivate a culture where people are known, cared for, and growing in faith.

Team Development & Volunteer Culture

- Recruit, train, and develop SERVE Team members and leaders.

- Create a healthy, life-giving team culture marked by encouragement, accountability, and growth.

- Lead regular staff development rhythms including one-on-ones, coaching, and feedback.

Operational Oversight

- Oversee campus operations including budgets, facilities, and ministry environments.

- Ensure alignment with central systems, processes, and strategic priorities.

- Lead change effectively within a multi-site context.
