Our client is an independent Quebec-based claims adjusting company with more than 50 years of experience . As part of its continued growth, the company is looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster to manage complex claims throughout Quebec.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, conduct investigations and travel throughout the province when required.

Your Day-to-Day

- Manage major and complex claims from initial investigation through resolution;
- Handle claims involving liability and bodily injury ;
- Travel throughout Quebec as required to conduct investigations, inspections and meetings ;
- Guide clients throughout the claims process and clearly explain the various stages of their claim;
- Answer insureds' questions and provide professional,



personalized and client-focused service ;
- Review insurance coverage and clearly explain applicable policy protections;
- Gather statements and information from insureds, third parties and other stakeholders to determine the circumstances, causes and validity of claims;
- Assess the potential liability of insureds and/or third parties based on thorough investigations and relevant supporting evidence;
- Anticipate potential recovery opportunities and direct investigations accordingly;
- Identify third parties who may have potential liability claims against the insured;
- Negotiate claims and settlements with various parties when appropriate;
- Collaborate with professionals and stakeholders involved in complex claims;
- Participate in catastrophe, surge and emergency situations when required, including outside normal business hours;
- Maintain complete, accurate and well-documented claim files;
- Perform other related duties associated with complex claims management.

What You Bring

- A valid AMF 5A Claims Adjuster licence for both Personal and Commercial Lines ;
- At least 5 years of experience in claims adjusting , particularly in liability and bodily injury ;
- Knowledge of E&O; (Errors & Omissions) and D&O; (Directors & Officers) is a strong asset;
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel throughout Quebec;
- Excellent English proficiency , both written and spoken;
- Strong autonomy, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex files simultaneously;
- Strong analytical, investigative, negotiation and problem-solving skills ;
- Excellent professional judgment and the ability to work effectively in complex situations.
