:
1. Vehicle preparation to ensure the vehicle is ready for customer pick-up.
- Drive and park vehicles on-lot as needed as well as to other locations (for example, vendors, body shops, FBO (Fixed Based Operator), ready line, other branches and Seaspan barge).
- Manage overflow lot according to procedures to ensure vehicles are rotated,
- Drive and shuttle vehicles and customers as directed.
- Clean and maintain the supply of car seats at both the wash bay and counter.
- Check vehicles for valid insurance and decals and any missing accessories.
- Preparing vehicles entering service for rental and the management of insurance decals as directed at the time of renewal.
- Check for vehicle damage and ensure the features of the vehicle is operational.
- Ensure the interior of the vehicle is clean (including windows, door jams and trunk), vacuum and use upholstery cleaner when needed, etc.
- Refuel and complete the related refuelling process, wash the exterior (debug), and check fluid levels and tire pressure of vehicles.
- Pre-inspect the vehicle, noting all damage on the vehicle inspection sheet.
- Document and give items found in vehicles to either a manager or counter staff promptly in accordance with the lost and found policy.
- Communicate with management or designated contact when any supplies, including fuel, need to be ordered.
- Maintain the wash bay and equipment to WorkSafe standards as directed, including maintaining a clean work environment and notifying management of any safety issues.
