Become a key player at Peripheral, responsible for architecting and building cloud infrastructure for sports analytics and immersive media. This hands-on role involves working in a highly cross-functional environment while focusing on scalability and reliability. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will collaborate closely with research and engineering teams, leveraging your DevOps and MLOps expertise to ensure that our models are efficiently deployed and perform optimally during live events.
Your experience in building production infrastructure will help scale training workloads and improve the resilience of customer-facing systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure for ML training
- Partner with research to scale model training workflows
- Build production infrastructure for model deployment
- Establish standards for infrastructure-as-code and monitoring
- Mentor and guide engineers in infrastructure best practices
Requirements:
- 4+ years in building production cloud infrastructures
- Expertise in AWS or GCP and distributed training
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Solid understanding of cloud security and observability
- Legal right to work in Canada; relocation to Toronto needed
