Job Title: Commercial Lines Broker
Status: Full time, permanent
Location: Edmonton
Salary: $65,000+ plus commissions

The role of a Commercial Insurance Broker is a dynamic opportunity designed for individuals dedicated to providing expert risk management advice and exceptional client service. What You Will Be Doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients
- Identify client needs and exposures; ensure appropriate coverage is in place
- Stay current on insurance markets, underwriting rules, products, and industry trends
- Educate clients on the claims process and advocate for them when necessary
- Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and positivity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation
- Support achievement of sales, referral, and retention goals
Who You Are:
- Alberta Insurance Council Level 2 General License (required)
- 2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience (required)
- Solid understanding of insurance markets, underwriting rules, products, and coverages
- Sense of humor
- 5+ years of client service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs
- Experience working with TAM or Epic software
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A collaborative team player who works well independently and with others
- CIP/CAIB designation (completed or in progress) is an asset
